The Palace Hotel - Paignton

The room is bright and impressive with a view, everything is very good. The location is best possible and top, very near to pier.

The bed was comfy, I enjoyed it.

Quick check-in, good sized and nicely decorated rooms with a fridge, a great view, for instance. Magnificent location in the perfect area, short walk to the centre of Paignton, restaurants and shops, and sea and pier. Besides, excellent for visiting a grand old Victorian pier.

The sea view was beautiful, but the bed wasn't comfy at all.

Room had a lovely sea view with a tv and tea/coffee facilities. The on-site spa offered a fitness center, sauna, and indoor swimming pool. Breakfast was great with freshly made options. The staff provided warm service, always ready to assist. Clean bathroom with plenty of towels, and the garden area was a peaceful spot to relax.

I loved the spacious Classic Family Room! Perfect for our family getaway, but the decor felt a bit dated. great food and friendly staff made our stay memorable. 😊

The hotel was a great spot for a family trip, offering a spacious family room that we really appreciated. Breakfast was a standout with delicious freshly made options like pancakes and porridge on top of the usual hot meals. The location near the pier made it easy to stroll around and enjoy the local attractions, although the funfair nearby did bring some noise in the evenings.

Our stay at The Palace was good. The historic charm of the hotel, paired with the attentive staff, made it a wonderful family getaway. Despite some issues with the dining experience being a bit hectic, we cherished the lovely pool area and the amazing views from our room.

Gorgeous, grand building near the beach! My spacious room was well-kept, and the grounds were a delight. Some of the reception staff were lovely.

The bar service was slower than my grandma in a hurry! And do check your change, because I didn't sign up for a modern art exhibit of squiggles.

Comfortable Stay with Superb Dining Experience

I enjoyed a good evening meal with a six-course feast served impeccably. The staff were attentive. My room was spacious, but unfortunately, other guests were occasionally noisy. I recommend requesting a room away from the main traffic areas for more peaceful rest.
